Head of Product | Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic product leader, senior level thought partner to lead product development and management of Vulqan’s data platform—a hands-on Product Leader to own the product end-to-end — from problem definition to shipped features. This role partners closely with the Founder to evolve Vulqan’s data platform into an increasingly scalable enterprise product.

As Head of Product, you will be responsible for managing Vulqan’s product offerings. You will work closely with the Founder and a cross-functional team to understand market demands and competitors, define a product roadmap, deliver releases and drive customer adoption. You should bring an enthusiastic, team-player attitude and foster cooperation with other team members.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

In addition to the responsibilities below, success will be measured in tangible delivery within the first year of several self-service use cases that create a repeatable adoption motion

• Define and execute Vulqan’s product vision and strategy.
• Establish a roadmap for leadership in the nascent field of logical data unification.
• Within 12 months, support >10 repeatable enterprise use cases with documented customer adoption
• Create links with emerging AI technologies to make Vulqan an essential part of the AI data stack.
• Maintain a roadmap for integration capabilities for data flow across the enterprise landscape.
• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to delivery.
• Collaborate with the founder and functional teams to deliver high-quality releases.
• Conduct competitive and market analysis to identify opportunities in the AI and data landscape.
• Act as the voice of the customer to ensure the product delivers tangible business outcomes.
• Work with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize use cases.
• Develop product documentation, enablement assets, and demos for sales teams.
• Define go-to-market plans for new products, including packaging, pricing, and positioning.
• Track and manage success metrics for adoption, usage, and performance.

Skills You Must Have

• 6–8 years of Product Management experience with a focus on logical data modeling, master data management, data integration, or enterprise SaaS.
• Proven experience designing or managing Integration tools, MDM, ERP or analytics platforms.
• Deep understanding of data management concepts, APIs, ETL, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience going from 0→1 and 1→N product development for an early-stage AI company preferred
• Comfort operating in ambiguity, with limited process and evolving product/market definition.
• Strong technical acumen with the ability to engage in architecture and design discussions with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business audiences.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent; MBA is a plus.
