Part Time Guest Room Attendant

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Room Attendant, you maintain the overall cleanliness of the resort/hotel and are hands‑on with the day‑to‑day operations of the Housekeeping Department.

• Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and cleaning agents.
• Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.
• Strip and make beds, including changing bed linens, lifting bedspreads weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.
• Push and pull the vacuum throughout the entire room and empty trash.
• Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in the guest room.
• Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms, and restock heavy cart.
• Visually inspect the room for cleanliness and appearance, signifying completion.

• Must have the ability to communicate in English.
• Self‑starting personality with an even disposition.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Can communicate well with guests.
• Willing to pitch‑in and help co‑workers—team player.
• Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of various cleaning equipment.
