Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with at least 2 years of large trauma center experience for night shifts and Epic charting.
Responsibilities- Position is based in a large Level I trauma center in a short-term acute care setting
- MRI department caring for diverse patient populations including trauma cases
- 3x12 hour night shifts, working Saturday through Monday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- Epic EMR system is used
- No floating specified
- First-time travelers are accepted for this position
- Return perm staff must have a 2-year separation to be eligible
- A reference is needed for consideration
- Radius rule in effect—candidates must live at least 75 miles away unless applying as Nuclear Med Tech or CT Tech
- Facility can auto-approve up to 7 days of requested time off; longer requests require approval
- Royal blue scrubs are required
- Parking is available for $125 per month
- Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience in a large trauma center required
- Current state license required if applicable
- BLS certification required
- Experience working night shifts is preferred
- Flu vaccine required without exceptions
- COVID-19 vaccine and booster required unless exempt for religious or medical reasons
