This is a full-time on-site role located in Wallingford, CT for a Payment Processing Specialist. The Payment Processing Specialist will be responsible for reviewing and processing payments, verifying amounts, ensuring accuracy of financial transactions, and managing records in compliance with company and regulatory standards. They will also handle account reconciliations, address discrepancies effectively, and work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate financial data.
Ensuring timely and efficient processing while providing excellent customer service is a key aspect of this role.
- Strong understanding of payment processing, account reconciliations, and financial transactions
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills to meet deadlines
- Effective communication and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Prior experience in a financial or payment processing role preferred
- Prior experience with insurance companies or workers compensation is a plus.
