Trauma and Surgery Critical Care Surgeon – Excellent opportunity to join a growing team of Physicians.

The Division of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery in the Department of Surgery at NYU Langone Hospital-Suffolk is seeking a fellowship-trained Trauma and Surgery Critical Care Surgeon to join our ACS-COT verified, NY State designated Level 2 Trauma Center. The successful candidate will possess outstanding clinical skills, a strong interest in education and research, and must qualify for a faculty appointment at New York University Grossman Long Island School of Medicine (NYU GLISOM).

Responsibilities will include trauma, surgical critical care, and emergency general surgery coverage at a rapidly growing tertiary care center. Opportunities for elective general surgery exist and are encouraged. Robust clinical and basic science research opportunities are also available and strongly encouraged.

• Board Certified/Eligible in General Surgery
• Board Certified/Eligible in Surgical Critical Care (Fellowship trained)
• Additional training in an ACS fellowship highly desired

Additional note: The salary range will be 300k—350k
.
