Seeking Quality Measurement Reevaluation and Coding Expert (Consultant Position)

YNHHS/CORE is seeking a consultant to provide support for measure reevaluation and coding updates for federal quality measures. They will work with CORE’s measure reevaluation and annual update experts to ensure administrative claims‑based measures reflect the most recent coding guidance and will assist with creating measure specifications reports. The consulting agreement will be fixed price and will span from execution to January 23, 2027;

CORE’s estimate for the work is roughly 1,200 hours but will be open to negotiations based on candidate’s assessment.

Successful candidates should have clinical experience (nursing experience preferred), experience with various coding systems including ICD‑10, CPT, HCPCS, etc., and at least 10 years’ experience in the federal quality measurement space. Knowledge of federal quality measurement and payment programs and models, including familiarity with programmatic reporting and production requirements, timelines, and measures required. Experience with drafting and editing measure specifications reports required.

Strong interpersonal and relationship building and project management skills required. Candidates must also have their own EIN number and cannot be on the government’s list of excluded parties on SAM.gov.
