Our client, a company operating in the refrigeration sector, is seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver with a valid C Licence to join their team based in Ashbourne. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver who enjoys working independently, ensuring goods are delivered safely and efficiently to customers across various locations.
Job Title: Delivery Driver (C Licence)
Location: Ashbourne, Co. Meath, Ireland
Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate and drive a rigid truck (C Licence) to deliver products to customer sites throughout Ireland.
Load and unload goods, ensuring products are handled with care and delivered in excellent condition.
Verify and complete delivery paperwork, ensuring accurate records of all deliveries and collections.
Provide a professional and courteous service to customers at all times.
Assist in the warehouse as required, including picking, packing, and organising stock.
Comply with all road safety regulations, tachograph laws, and company procedures.
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance issues promptly.
Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle.
- Valid C Licence (Rigid Truck)
- Up-to-date CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience in multi-drop or commercial driving preferred
- Good knowledge of routes across Ireland
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Physically fit, as the role may involve manual handling
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Competitive hourly rate or salary, depending on experience
