Heritage is a trusted provider of standby generator services, specializing in installation, maintenance, and repair of backup power systems. As demand grows, we’re looking for a reliable Generator Maintenance Technician to join our team. If you’re mechanically inclined, customer-focused, and ready to grow with a company that values your skills, we want to hear from you!

In this field-based role, you’ll maintain primarily Generac standby generators. Performing routine maintenance to ensure generators remain in good working condition before problems arise. You’ll work directly with homeowners and business customers to ensure their backup power systems run smoothly and safely. We will provide training and certification for the right candidate.

• Perform preventive care, routine maintenance and upkeep on generators
• Oil and filter changes
• Battery tests and replacements
• Cleaning units, checking wiring and voltage
• Use company-provided iPad to log details/issues and customer interactions
• Provide clear, courteous communication with customers and service team
• Maintain a stocked, clean company vehicle
• Adhere to safety protocols and company procedures at all times

• Entry to Mid-Level generator maintenance experience
• Willingness to become certified—training provided
• Mechanical and electrical experience
• Comfortable working independently and communicating directly with customers
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment (minimum of 50 pounds)
• Willingness to work flexible hours
