Campos Fabrication in Amherst NH is looking for an Electrical Shop Technician to join our growing team with experience assembling and wiring control panels and full turnkey systems, as well as be familiar working off blueprints, schematics, and a bill of materials. You also need to have knowledge of electrical theory, measurement skills, and light metal fabrication.
Responsibilities- Assemble, terminate, and wire electrical panels and electrical boxes using the specified tooling and approved workmanship standards, including complete installation into enclosure.
- Perform point to point wiring on a variety of electrical panels and power distribution electrical boxes; using company supplied hand tools, such as crimpers and wire strippers.
- Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.
- Position, align, or adjust work pieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly.
- Layout of components in various size cabinets.
- Installing electrical enclosures, electrical devices, wire tray, conduit and pulling and terminating wires in the complete system.
- Comfortable working in a fabrication shop environment and working at heights.
- 2 years minimum electrical technician experience
- High school diploma /GED
- Knowledge and experience with electrical wiring, control panels, instrumentation, and fabrication concepts.
- UL 508A Certified is not required but is a plus.
PAY: $30-40/HR DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

- Incumbents will consistently utilize written and verbal communication skills including active listening, speaking, reach and grasp objects.
- Incumbents will regularly; experience periods of prolonged sitting, standing, walking, travel/drive a vehicle, and lift objects up to 25 lbs.
- Incumbents will occasionally lift objects up to 50 lbs.
- This position requires the incumbent to operate office equipment such as computers, telephones, fax machines and copiers. This position would also require at times the ability to operate a forklift. Onsite training will be provided.
