Gilford Well Company is seeking a skilled and motivated Water Filtration Mechanic to join our Field Operations team. In this hands‑on role, you'll be responsible for the installation and servicing of residential and light commercial water treatment systems, including filters, softeners, and related plumbing components. • Install and service water filtration systems, softeners, and related components in residential homes and light commercial spaces
• Troubleshoot and repair water treatment systems, including Clack, Fleck, and other control valves
• Solder copper plumbing and work with various piping materials
• Support senior technicians and gradually transition to working independently with a company truck
• Communicate professionally with customers on‑site
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Document work performed and system issues accurately
• Lift and move equipment weighing 50+ lbs as needed

Minimum of 1 year of experience in water filtration system installation or maintenance

Knowledge of residential water treatment systems and water chemistry is a plus

Familiarity with filter valve brands like Clack and Fleck preferred

Ability to solder copper plumbing

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Strong communication skills and customer service mindset

Team player with a commitment to quality workmanship

Physically capable of performing demanding fieldwork
