Facilities Manager

This position is for a building technician that has the ability to maintain buildings and facilities, including building structure, electrical, plumbing, and conditioning systems. The role also includes grounds maintenance for safe and efficient access, use and operation of facilities. This role will involve functioning out of both our Walpole and Keene NH facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Winter maintenance
• Snow removal
• Sanding
• Fuel level control for heating systems
• Non-winter maintenance
• Mowing
• Tree care
• Infrastructure monitoring and repair
• Required testing of systems
• Cleaning of systems
• Repair of essential operational infrastructure (light, bathrooms, etc)
• Water supply and disposal
• Small tool repair
• Building modifications
• Small building construction (framing, drywall, painting)

Qualifications

Basic:

• General carpentry knowledge
• General MEP knowledge (electrical, plumbing, HVAC)
• Safe operation of small equipment and power tools
• Valid driver's license
• OSHA 10 certified or equivalent experience
• Computer literacy and use (email, data entry)

Preferred:

• Computer literacy and use (MS suite)
• Able to write reports

Physical Requirements

• Able to work outdoors, year-round
• Able to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Able to lift heavy objects up to approximately 50 lbs.
