Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Patrol Officer at the Hinsdale Police Department, located in Hinsdale, NH. The Patrol Officer will be responsible for maintaining public safety and order, enforcing laws, and providing assistance in emergencies. Day-to-day tasks include patrolling designated areas, responding to service calls, conducting investigations, and interacting with community members to build positive relationships. The Patrol Officer must also complete detailed reports and collaborate with other law enforcement agencies.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Physical Security and Law Enforcement
• Experience in Emergency Services and the ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications or certifications in law enforcement are a plus
• Possession of a valid driver's license
• Must be a US Citizen
• No criminal record and ability to pass a background check

Pay and Benefits:

$28 an hour starting pay, $72 an hour for details, up to $2,000 a year in Incentive pay, longevity bonuses, holiday pay paid out in December, vacation, personal time, sick, health insurance, dental insurance, NH State Retirement
