This hybrid Account Manager role is based at Connection’s Corporate Headquarters in Merrimack, New Hampshire, where our sales training, coaching, and leadership teams are located. You’ll learn alongside experienced sellers, work directly with on‑site Sales Coaches, and build confidence fast in a collaborative, high‑energy office environment.
No prior B2B sales experience is required —
we hire for drive, coachability, and work ethic, and we invest heavily in your development.

What You’ll Do
As an Account Manager, you’ll build the foundation of a successful career in technology sales by:
- Making outbound prospecting calls to introduce Connection and build your book of business
- Developing strong, trust‑based relationships with contacts across multiple organizations
- Learning to uncover customer challenges and present meaningful, value‑driven solutions
- Confidently asking for the business as your sales skills develop
- Partnering with technical subject matter experts to strengthen customer conversations
- Working closely with internal teams to deliver a best‑in‑class customer experience
- Using modern sales tools to research prospects, personalize outreach, and add value in every interaction
How We Prepare You for Success
This role is built for motivated individuals who may be new to sales but are serious about building a career.
You’ll receive:
- 8 weeks of paid, hands‑on sales training
- A dedicated Sales Coach throughout your first year to help you ramp and grow
- Ongoing development to build your sales skills, product knowledge, and confidence
- Access to technical experts who support you in customer conversations
- Step‑by‑step guidance as you build comfort in a high‑activity, prospecting environment
- A supportive culture that rewards effort, integrity, and personal accountability
Compensation & Benefits
- $19.25/hour base pay plus uncapped, bi‑weekly commission
- Non‑recoverable commission guarantees during your first three years
Typical first‑year earnings: $50K-$60K - Monday–Friday schedule: 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. ET
