About the Camp
Spend your summer on a beautiful lakeside property in southern New Hampshire, supporting a long-standing overnight camp serving 200–250 campers per session. The camp welcomes children ages 8–15 from a variety of backgrounds, with a warm, fun, inclusive culture rooted in community and outdoor adventure. While the camp is culturally Jewish, nurses are not required to be Jewish, and the medical team historically includes professionals from diverse backgrounds.
What matters most is compassion, teamwork, and the ability to care for campers with energy and enthusiasm. Each summer, the camp runs:
- 2-week, 3.5-week, and 7-week sessions
- A team of 4 live-in RNs
- Nursing students supporting Nurses
- 80+ counselors and a full leadership team

Daily Responsibilities- Provide ongoing nursing assessment and care for campers and staff
- Maintain complete and accurate health records
- Manage medication packaging, storage, and administration
- Lead four daily med passes
- Respond promptly to injuries, illnesses, and on-site medical needs
- Communicate important health updates to camp leadership
- Provide professional, friendly, and reassuring interactions with parents
- Help maintain a calm, organized, welcoming Health Center
Shift Structure
The camp provides three structured nursing shifts, designed to balance coverage and wellness:
Combination of Early shift, Mid-shift, Late shift (includes on-call responsibilities but does not require staying awake)
- Registered Nurse with an active Compact or New Hampshire license
- Pediatric, school, camp, or emergency experience
- Dependable work ethic
- Comfort working with children ages 8–15
- Strong communication skills with kids, staff, and parents
- Enthusiastic participation in a camp community atmosphere
- Ability to commit for the full summer season
