- Assess patient health problems, administer nursing care to ill, disabled, convalescent, or injured patients.
- Maintain vital medical records, implement nursing care plans, advise patients on health maintenance, and provide guidance about preventive services, such as health screenings and medications.
- Administer medications as prescribed by physician and perform treatments as prescribed and necessary.
- Accurately report patient symptoms, reactions, and progress; record medications, treatments and observations.
- Maintain a comfortable, orderly, safe environment for residents, staff and self.
- Assume all other duties as assigned by DNS.
- Demonstrate knowledge and competence in area of practice by vigilant patient observation and assessment.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans and therapeutic interpersonal relationships with patients and their families.
- Supervise and teach other personnel and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge.
- Graduation from a state accredited school of nursing, current licensure to practice professional nursing in the State of New Hampshire and progressive experience in the nursing field.
