We design and manufacture premium precast concrete products for industries including electrical, lighting & utility, building materials, renewable energy, and EV charging. The company prides itself on quality, innovation, and efficiency in manufacturing high-value concrete solutions.
The Production & Facility Manager plays a critical leadership role in overseeing all aspects of the company’s production operations and facility maintenance. This position ensures smooth, safe, and efficient manufacturing processes while managing the physical plant to support current and future business growth.
Production ManagementOversee daily production activities to ensure output meets or exceeds goals for quantity, quality, and delivery.
Coordinate with supply chain, quality assurance, and engineering to optimize workflow and reduce bottlenecks.
Lead and develop production teams; set performance expectations and hold staff accountable.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies) to boost efficiency and reduce waste.
Analyze production data and metrics to pinpoint trends and improvement opportunities.
Facility Operations & ManagementOversee the maintenance, safety, and functionality of the manufacturing facility, including building systems and equipment.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime.
Manage facility space utilization, safety compliance, and environmental health requirements.
Establish long-term facility strategies aligned with business goals and sustainability initiatives.
Manage vendor relationships and facility-related procurement.
Leadership & Cross-Functional CollaborationHire, train, mentor, and lead production and facility staff.
Ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations.
Collaborate with senior leadership to support budgeting, planning, and strategic initiatives.
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across teams.
7+ years of production management experience in an industrial environment.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, facility operations, and safety standards.
Proven leadership experience with frontline teams and operational improvements.
Familiarity with quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience in precast concrete manufacturing or similar heavy industrial operations.
Certification in Facility Management (CFM) or Project Management (PMP).
Experience with ERP systems and production scheduling tools.
Budget management and cost-control experience.
Advanced knowledge of EHS compliance and sustainability programs.
Strong leadership and team development abilities.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Effective communicator and collaborator across functions.
Proficiency with scheduling, reporting, and operations software.
