Weekend Maintenance Technician

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repair activities on CNC machines, company machine tools, and manufacturing equipment to maximize equipment availability and utilization.
• Assist in the installation, relocation, modification, and validation of company manufacturing machinery and production equipment.
• Perform general preventative machine maintenance including coolant duties (drain, clean, fill, and dispose) and machine repair.
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of CNC equipment, automation systems, and production machinery.
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of building and installed systems including packaging and handling machinery, plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop equipment, grounds equipment, and HVAC.
• Assist with general cleaning and upkeep of building and grounds.
• Support facilities upkeep and improvement projects as necessary.
• Perform essential duties while following prescribed safety regulations and company procedures.
• Comply with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures when servicing equipment.
• Maintain certification as Forklift Train-the-Trainer and maintain the appropriate documentation and records for in-house forklift training.

• Maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
• Experience working with CNC machines, machine tools, or production equipment strongly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and facility systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform general repairs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
