Summary: Performs repairs to various printed circuit boards/in-process product.
Duties and Responsibilities- Under minimal supervision, performs substantially varied and unique tasks
- Can solder proficiently, comfortable with using tools, working on PCBs
- Adapts new procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet the more complex requirements of the position
- Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals
- Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues, and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels
- Must be able to distinguish colors
- Knowledge of production procedures
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports
- Simple computer literacy
- Ability to work well under pressure and to meet multiple deadlines while maintaining a cooperative working relationship with employees and supervisor
- Has specialized expertise, typically developed through a combination of job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience
- Completes assignments and facilitates the work activities of others; may coordinate work beyond own area
- Proposes improvements to processes
- Works autonomously within established procedures and practices
- High School w/3+ years’ experience or AA/AS/Technical School w/1-3 years’ experience
- Able to lift up to 35 pounds
- Regularly performs repetitive tasks
- Able to sit for entire shift
- Regularly possesses manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
