Power Bender - Laconia, NH

STS Aerospacein Laconia, NH is searching for aPower Benderto join the team. This position is responsible for the fabrication, shaping, bending, and assembly of metal products for aircraft applications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Able to set up and operate manual and power benders
• Able to understand and follow written work instruction
• Work with engineering to develop layouts and sequence of operations
• Work with engineering to design and construct templates and fixtures
• Locates and marks bending and cutting lines onto workpiece
• Verifies conformance of workpiece to specifications
• Fabricates and assembles tubing metal products
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time
• Other duties may be assigned as needed

Education and/or Experience

One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
