Brenton, based in Alexandria, MN, is a leading manufacturer of case packers, palletizers, shrink-wrapping machines and complete End of Line packaging systems for the food & beverage and consumer packaged goods markets. • Perform most mechanical, pneumatic, and some electrical assembly operations.
• Read and understand assembly drawings, adhere to customer specifications, and assist in the test and final adjustments of the machine.
• Fit and align all components on a machine, follow and adhere to all Brenton/Orion quality and assembly standards.
• Must be able to be forklift certified.
• Mechanical installation includes: lube lines, cams, align and adjust gearboxes and drive lines, motors, chain, sprockets, etc.
• Assist customer personnel in the installation, start-up and training of Orion machines and systems.

Placement within our salary range is determined based upon years of directly relatable experience for your position. These components, along with local and national compensation data, contribute to deciding a candidate’s potential starting rate of pay.

Total compensation includes your pay, potential short-term incentive opportunities, comprehensive medical/dental/vision programs, as well as life insurance, disability insurance, paid time off programs, a retirement savings plan with a company match and a wellness program. You are eligible on your first day of employment.

Base Hourly Range: $20.00-$29.00

• 2-year technical college degree with 2-4 years of mechanical assembly experience preferred.
• Excellent mechanical / electrical capability or capacity to learn.
• Solid mechanical problem-solving skills.
• Potential to be a motivator / leader.
• Professional communication, attitude and image.
• Educator – good verbal and written presentation, organized, good planner, good interpersonal skills.
