We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented painter to join our team. The painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and finishing jobs to a high standard. We have two 52 unit apartment buildings in Swanzey NH scheduled to begin painting in March/April. This role requires knowledge of various painting techniques, tools, and materials, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, and applying primer.
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results.
- Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect areas during painting.
- Apply paint, stain, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
- Inspect painted surfaces for uniformity and smoothness.
- Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment.
- Follow safety procedures and wear protective gear.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
