The Production Assembler I position is responsible for using components and parts to produce products for delivery.

• Study and interpret assembly instructions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, positions parts, minor mechanical assemblies and examines connections for correct fit.
• Listen to directions from supervisors.
• Determine if all parts are present.
• Read and interpret blueprints and sketches.
• Read parts list.
• Assemble tools and materials.
• Positions parts and subassemblies.
• Assemble components.
• Ensure all parts are fitted and screwed in properly.
• Certified in conformal coating.
• Report assembly and production issues to supervisor.
• Documents actions by completing production assembly.
• Ensure working environment is clean and safe.
• Report errors in product line.
• Complete quality control forms.
• Participates in team meetings.
• Builds positive work relationships.
• Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
• Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
• Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
• Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• Previous assembly experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Required to successfully pass a pre‑employment drug screen, vision screen and background check.

• Must be able to work independently and function effectively as part of a team.
• Occasional overtime may be required to include elongated shifts or occasional weekends.
• May travel to client sites on rare occasions.

• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• This position is mostly seated but must also be able to stand/walk regularly.
