Position: Robot Operator - *Weekend 4/10 Schedule*
Location: Northfield

Robot Operator – Weekend 4/10 Schedule

Precision Castparts, Tilton Facility

Schedule:

Friday – Monday, 10:00 am – 8:30 pm (four 10‑hour days)

Pay: $18.50 – $22.50 per hour

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform varied duties to support robot operators, including blowing off parts between dips, making slurry batches, keeping sand beds filled, transferring parts line to line, setting up R1 and R3 with new parts.
  • Assure proper installation and adjustments of molds onto plates and hangers.
  • Check viscosity of slurries and pre‑dip, perform sand bed checks.
  • Maintain and clean slurry tanks, sand beds, floor hangers, and plates.
  • Keep robots operational during breaks and lunch periods.
  • Perform plating, deplating, and autoclave operations as required.
  • Follow operational procedures for making slurry batches using recipe.
  • Detect faulty operations or defective material and report to robot operator.
  • Follow prescribed safety regulations and keep work area and equipment clean and orderly.
  • Know and follow all departmental and company safety rules.
SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Comply with all applicable safety requirements, policies, and procedures, maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.
  • Participate in required training, medical monitoring, safety, and health evaluations and programs.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment in designated areas.
  • Perform all physical functions of the position, including standing, stooping, bending, sitting, walking, twisting, kneeling, turning, and lifting materials up to 35 lb.
  • Meet established attendance standards.
  • Work overtime as needed.
  • Report any work‑related injury or illness immediately to supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Frequently required to stand, walk, twist, turn, talk, and/or hear. Occasionally required to sit, kneel, stoop, bend, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Occasionally lift/move up to 35 lb. Specific vision abilities required: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
