Resort Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Resort Maintenance worker to join our team on the night shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the resort's facilities, ensuring all equipment and systems are functioning properly, and addressing maintenance issues that arise during the night. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Respond to maintenance requests from guests and staff in a timely manner
• Conduct regular inspections of the property and perform preventative maintenance
• Assist with minor repairs, including drywall patching, painting, and carpentry
• Maintain and repair outdoor landscaping, pools, and recreational facilities as needed
• Ensure that maintenance tools and equipment are in good working condition and stored properly
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs completed during the shift
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff and management to prioritize tasks and address urgent issues
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment
• Assist with emergency situations, such as power outages or plumbing issues, following established procedures
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in maintenance practices

• Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and some holidays
• Previous experience in maintenance, construction, or a related field preferred
• Knowledge of general maintenance practices
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor, including standing for long periods and working in various weather conditions
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
