Network Engineer

Next Path Career Partners is currently seeking a Network Engineer to join our client’s team in Manchester, NH
. This is an Onsite
, Contract to hire position with the potential for full-time conversion.

Salary: $45-$50/hour (depending on experience)

• Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting and implementing Cisco networking equipment
• Strong troubleshooting skills for wired and wireless network components
• Experience with LAN/WAN configurations, troubleshooting, and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Knowledge of Cisco IOS, IOSXE, Cisco SD-WAN, Cisco ISE, Firepower, and UCS (limited use)
• Familiarity with wireless technologies (Wi‑Fi 6/7) and monitoring tools like Solar Winds
• Ability to work independently, travel locally, and respond to urgent site issues
• Proven problem‑solving and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• (Plus) Certification such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+ within the first year

• Provide hands‑on network support across 70+ location sites
• Perform on‑site switch refreshes, router upgrades, and network maintenance
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to routers, switches, wireless, and network hardware
• Install, configure, and upgrade network hardware and software
• Collaborate with internal teams and third‑party vendors for project implementation
• Document network architecture, configurations, and troubleshooting steps
• Respond promptly to site‑level active support needs and escalations
• Maintain operational network functionality during high‑pressure situations
• Participate in on‑call rotations and travel regionally as needed
