Reporting to the Vice President of Compliance, you will provide strategic leadership, planning, and oversight for the institution's Title IX, sexual misconduct, and gender equity compliance efforts. This includes responsibility for coordinating institutional compliance with state and federal regulations regarding equal opportunity; leading implementation of policies, procedures, and prevention efforts; and serving as the University's primary point of contact for matters involving sex and gender discrimination.
You will develop and lead the execution of compliance plans, projects, and processes, partner with institutional leaders across academic and administrative units, and deliver training, policy education, and outreach to support a safe and equitable learning and working environment. You will be specifically responsible for Title IX compliance and coordination within the institution, acts as the university's Title IX Coordinator and conducts equity investigations in the area of equal opportunity.
This is an on site position that would require physical presence at our campus location in Manchester, NH.
What you'll do:
Serve as the University's Title IX Coordinator responsible for primary implementation , and compliance for all Title IX (including VAWA) related matters.
In coordination with stakeholders, draft and maintain applicable policies, including the University's Sexual Misconduct Policy and Non-Discrimination and Anti-Harassment policies.
Recruits, develops, and trains members of the University's Title IX Team to fill roles as investigators, advisors, and adjudicators.
Assess all reports of sexual misconduct and student equity concerns
Make appropriate referrals to other university offices. Ensure that all parties are treated fairly and consistently as outlined in university policies.
Partner with institutional leaders to designate and support Deputy Title IX Coordinator(s), ensuring coverage and continuity through cross-departmental collaboration.
Ensure university policies and procedures are in compliance with Title IX regulations.
Serve as a subject matter expert on institutional nondiscrimination policies, providing guidance on matters involving gender equity, bias, harassment, and equal access across university programs and services.
Coordinate with campus staff to respond to all incidents of sexual misconduct, meet with students and provide necessary support and outreach, and assess all allegations of misconduct to determine what policies may apply.
Coordinate the investigation of Formal Complaints alleging sexual misconduct in accordance with the Sexual Misconduct Policy, ensures appropriate documentation is maintained relating to the investigation, and provide guidance to the assigned Title IX investigator(s).
Coordinate accommodations for parties engaged in the investigation process.
Under the general direction of the General Counsel and VP of Compliance, you must be able to work within limited authority on assignments of an extremely confidential nature associated with investigations and legal proceedings.
Track all allegations relating to sexual misconduct to identify trends and reporting to university leadership, including maintaining accurate records for Clery reporting.
Ensure compliance with training requirements for Title IX and related state statutes, including providing annual training to Title IX investigators and board members and providing training for students and employees.
Conduct routine audits, climate assessments, and process evaluations related to Title IX, sexual misconduct, and equity compliance, identifying trends and recommending improvements to strengthen institutional practices.
Develop and maintain data dashboards and reporting metrics to monitor case activity, compliance obligations, training completion, and program effectiveness, providing regular updates to institutional leadership.
Prepare and share educational material, including brochures, posters, and web-based materials that inform members of the university community of Title IX rights and responsibilities.
Provide guidance to the University's Human Resources and Investigations Teams on all issues relating to employee sexual harassment.
Collaborate with other university offices, including the Office of General Counsel, Student Affairs, Student Conduct, Student Wellness, Public Safety, and others focused on sexual violence and bias/hate incidence prevention, survivor…
