Overview

Join to apply for the Director of Operations role at Olympia Hospitality in Gorham, NH. This position leads daily hotel operations, ensuring high guest satisfaction and strong financial performance while fostering a supportive work culture.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Department Managers in managing daily hotel operations and maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Drive revenue and control expenses to achieve strong financial results.
  • Provide training, development, and support to staff, ensuring adherence to hotel policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Manage labor and payroll, and maintain consistent communication with Department Managers across all shifts.
  • Oversee day‑to‑day operations of The Notch Grille, including front‑of‑house, back‑of‑house, and bar services.
  • Support all hotel operations—front desk, housekeeping, and overall guest services—as needed.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership, management, or supervisory experience in hospitality.
  • College degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Solid knowledge of hospitality principles and experience managing people and complex problems.
  • Understanding of operations in Sales, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Engineering departments.
  • Associates degree or equivalent work experience accepted.
  • Spanish bilingualism is a plus.
