Laundry Attendant

PURPOSE OF ROLE

Ensure a consistent supply of high-quality, clean linens, bedding, and towels to meet guest demand and support exceptional guest experiences.

• Receive and separate dirty linen by type (sheets, towels, bedding).
• Wash and dry laundry according to established procedures and standards.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the laundry room.
• Inspect laundered items for quality and ensure stain-free, damage-free presentation.
• Follow OSHA, safety, and company regulations at all times.
• Report concerns, accidents, damages, and safety hazards promptly to supervisor/manager.
• Perform duties in a professional and safe manner.
• Complete other assigned duties as needed to support housekeeping operations.

• Linen Quality: 98% of linens meet cleanliness and presentation standards (stain-free, properly folded).
• Production Efficiency:
  Process and return linens within 24 hours of collection.
• Safety Compliance:
  Zero OSHA violations or preventable accidents annually.
• Inventory Readiness:
  Maintain minimum par levels of linens as defined by management.
• Attendance & Reliability: 95% or higher on-time attendance rate.
• Team Support:
  Positive feedback from housekeeping supervisors on reliability and responsiveness.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Flexibility with work schedule (hours/days).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
