Program Specialist

Overview

Easterseals NH is looking for a Program Specialist to join our Community Based Services team. This program supports individuals within our residential homes.

• Work directly with the Program Manager to review, monitor, and participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of program goals.
• Act as a Peer Guide for assigned new Direct Support Associates (DSA), including on-the-job training and program orientation, maintaining contact with assigned DSA for a minimum of six months, demonstrating professionalism, exceptional customer service, and a positive demeanor, and elevating any feedback or concerns to the supervisor.
• Assist with preparation and compliance of required documentation as requested by the supervisor.
• Perform direct support responsibilities as necessary, including personal care and transportation.

• Associates Degree in Human Services or related field and 1 year of Direct Support experience OR a High School Diploma or equivalent and two years of Direct Support experience.
• Valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle, and automobile insurance for transportation requirements.

40 hours/week.

Must be flexible, including weekends, to support program need.

$25 Hourly

• Up to 9 paid holidays annually, plus one floating holiday of your choice. For programs that remain open during holidays, staff scheduled to work will receive holiday pay in accordance with program guidelines.
