We are looking for a caring, reliable, and physically fit Personal Assistant to support a fun-loving 7‑year‑old non‑verbal boy with autism and ADHD in the community. The role involves providing personal care and supporting him to access social and leisure activities. The child enjoys outdoor activities such as visiting parks, soft play areas, and swimming. Due to his lack of awareness of danger and tendency to run off, the PA must be physically fit and able to respond quickly to ensure his safety.

Experience working with children or young people with autism/ADHD is essential, as the child requires constant supervision.

• Supporting the child in developing independent living skills
• Assisting with personal care (including changing nappies and dressing/undressing)
• Escorting to events and outings
• Supporting participation in leisure activities (e.g., swimming, parks, soft play)

• Experience in a similar role
• Physically fit and able to ensure the child’s safety in public settings
• Full driving licence and access to a car with business insurance
• Willingness to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
