We are seeking to hire an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our Surgical Services department. Our Surgical Services department incorporates several areas that include pre-op,operating room, and recovery room. Surgical Technologist

Job Responsibilities:

• Setting upthe instruments and equipment that is required for the procedure
• Reviewsupcoming surgical cases and takes inventory to ensure there are enough suppliesfor surgery
• Passingthe Surgeon instruments and sterile supplies throughout the operation
• Taking acount of all surgical instruments and supplies prior to the operation
• Recountingsurgical instruments and supplies at the end of the operation
• Maintaining an overall sterile environment throughout the surgery
• Don anddoff surgical attire, including sterile gloves, gowns, and masks
• Cleansendoscopy scopes as needed
• Assists with transferring and positioning patients both to and from the surgical table
• Participates in stocking and restocking medical/surgical supplies
• Pullscases for the next day
• Helpsclean rooms after surgery to support a 30 minute or less turnover for surgicaland a 15 minute or less turnover for endoscopy cases
• Mayoccasionally assist surgeons in other areas of the hospital

Schedule:

Monday - Thursday 7:00am
-4:30pm + on Call Our departmentboasts a supportive and collaborative work environment with a light to mediumworkload that alternates between scheduled cases. Our team works both independently and as part of a close-knit group, and we are looking for acandidate who can thrive in this dynamic. We specialize in endoscopies, general/ laparoscopic and orthopedic surgeries providing our surgical technologists with exciting opportunities to utilize their  addition, our patient care is highly personalized, ensuring that each patient receives exceptional care and compassion.

Our surgical technologists enjoy a light call schedule with a 45-minutecall back time, and call is only one daya week and every third weekend. We offer self-scheduling for call, allowing our team members to maintain ahealthy work-life balance. Surgical Technologist Qualifications / Skills/

Experience:

• Minimumof 1-2 years' experience working as a surgical technologist
• Ideal candidate will have experience in general/ laparoscopic and orthopedicsurgeries.
• Wouldprefer a graduate of an approved operating room (OR) technologist program with certification but willing to hire the right non-certified candidate thatbecomes certified within one year of hire.
• Able to use of Medical technologies, Surgicaltechnology and has Technical understanding
• Able to creating a safe, effective environment
• Can Analyzing information
• Is able to performing diagnostic procedures
• Has effective communication skills
• Great People skills, dependability, qualityfocus and planning
• Mustbe able to understand written and oral instructions.
• Current Basic Life Support certificate required
• Requiredcall commitment
