Job Duties and Responsibilities- Perform a wide range of professional skincare services, including customized facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, waxing, and other body treatments.
- Conduct client consultations to assess skin condition and recommend appropriate treatments and home care regimens.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of treatment rooms, tools, and equipment in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Educate guests on skincare techniques, products, and post-treatment care to support long-term results.
- Promote and sell retail skincare products, contributing to overall spa revenue goals.
- Keep detailed and accurate client records, including treatment notes and skin analysis outcomes.
- Stay informed of industry trends, new products, and emerging techniques to continuously improve service offerings.
- Collaborate with other spa staff to ensure a seamless, high-quality guest experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of an accredited esthetics program.
- Valid state esthetician license required.
- Prior experience in a spa or skincare clinic preferred; new graduates with strong skills may be considered.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of skin types, skincare products, and treatment protocols.
- Excellent hands-on technique, attention to detail, and client care abilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in recommending personalized skincare routines and upselling retail products.
- Ability to maintain a calm, professional demeanor in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
- Familiarity with spa booking and POS systems is a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
