Process Engineer

Location: Bennington

Paper Machine Process Engineer.

Requirements are:

* Improve existing manufacturing processes to achieve objectives and specifications

* Improve process capability and support center lining program, evaluate proposed process and material changes

* Recommend modifications. Leads trial/development work and established procedures within our ISO Integrated Management System

* Active participant in the Continuous Improvement program and contributes to the team effort as needed.

* Assists on department efforts to operate at the lowest fixed and variable costs while maintaining quality standards and department safety objectives.

* Develops capabilities of others within the department by conducting training sessions, publicizing best known practices and promoting center lining.

* Supports the department's ISO efforts and improves the mill's quality system through internal auditing.

* Works with customers to reduce waste and improve product quality.

* Works in a close support role with the Paper Machine Asset Manager, and supports backing up several job functions in the department.

* Supports test lab equipment, calibration and data analysis. Analyzes process data to determine process capability and areas of improvement opportunity.
