Job Title: Engineering Technician
Current Available Shift Schedule(s): 1st: 6:00am-2:30pm | 2nd: 2:00pm-10:30pm
The Engineering Technician will provide direct support to engineering and plant operations through various engineering projects, including new product development, maintenance, and revision of existing products. The Engineering Technician will have the ability to define and resolve engineering problems under close supervision of more experienced personnel.
Job DetailsDuties & Responsibilities
- Setup and run design verification and design of experiments testing with close supervision.
- Documentation such as Bill of Materials, specifications, instructions sheets.
- Perform engineering changes (EC) according to standard procedures with extreme attention to detail of the design, how the EC will affect disposition of past, present and future effected products, and EC documentation.
- Communicate project status with team and participate in program reviews.
- Meet deadlines, while effectively managing priorities and communicating progress.
- Interface with engineers and production to help coordinate overall technical activities wherever appropriate.
- Ensure that all relevant data is collected, reviewed, and filed for all projects in accordance with standard procedures.
- Help senior staff prepare and present detailed technical reports to management and staff.
- Contribute to written instruction and operation manuals for Green Source products.
- Perform in-house technical support.
- Help to achieve the completion of all projects within budget and on schedule.
- Perform other related duties as assigned in accordance with overall job responsibilities.
- Knowledge of manufacturing methods, systems, and production processes.
- Demonstrated delivery of results through project management.

- High school diploma, GED or equivalent, Vocational Training preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing work experience preferred.
- Must have hands-on / mechanical aptitude / trade (e.g. farming, construction, auto repair, machining, woodworking, etc.)
- Able to work 8 hour shifts plus overtime when needed.
- Able to lift up to 44 pounds/20kg.
- Able to bend, lean, sit and/or stand for entire shift.
High level of manual dexterity. - Ability to operate factory machines and use software to run computer-operated machinery.
