** Job Description Summary
** Farm is seeking a highly collaborative and self-driven
** Mechanical Engineer
** to join our talented and dynamic product development group to play a critical role in creating the next generation of advanced medical technologies.
** Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do…
*** Work on an exciting variety of products ranging from home health wearables to next generation therapy systems to surgical robotics.
* Engage with clients ranging from early stage start ups to fortune 100 medical device companies.
* Collaborate with industrial design, user interface, human factors, software, mechanical, and quality teams to create exceptional product designs.
* Conceptualize, investigate, and develop innovative product architectures, mechanisms, and electro-mechanical designs.
* Deliver compelling presentations to clients and internal teams to communicate design approach, value, tradeoffs, and recommendations.
* Create robust design solutions using CAD, analysis software, and lab equipment.
* Assemble and test prototypes to support design decisions and demonstrate performance.
** Here is some of what you’ll need (required)…
*** Bachelors or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
* 1-4 years of product development experience.
* Highly collaborative team attitude.
* Demonstrated ability to use Solid Works and/or Creo to resolve mechanical challenges and produce high quality CAD databases.
* Working knowledge of various manufacturing processes and techniques (including plastic part design, metal fabrication, and extrusions).
* Ability to quickly ramp up on, assess, and resolve diverse product challenges.
* Versatility and high levels of creativity and technical comprehension.
* Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
