Location: Wentworth
Stanyan Hill Controls LLC (a division of Premier Combustion Services Corporation) is seeking an experienced Senior Controls Engineer / PLC programmer for our UL508A custom panel shop in Wentworth, NH. This position is remote/hybrid and requires experience with industrial boiler systems, industrial combustion systems/fired equipment, SCADA design, and balance of plant systems. Candidates should have expertise in function block programming and ladder logic with Rockwell Automation‑based systems.
Short business travel to the US and Canada may be required for testing and meetings.
- Design, fabricate, and program SCADA, CCS, BMS, and BoP systems.
- Manage and design fabrication and programming for single, redundant, or TMR processors & I/O control systems.
- Provide startup support (via phone or VPN) for single and multi‑burner combustion applications across the US and Canada.
- Draft electrical schematics (Auto Cad, Proge
CAD). - Adapt to altered work schedules as needed to meet project requirements.
- Develop standard procedures.
- Travel to the main office for customer FAT testing and meetings as required.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Associate in a Specialized Technology Degree or five years of related controls experience.
- Extensive knowledge of PLC programming.
- Hands‑on experience with startup and commissioning of industrial boilers/ovens/furnaces and other processing equipment (feedwater systems, deaerator systems).
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
- Proficient with Rockwell PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming software.
- Willingness to learn other manufacturers’ software (Siemens, Schneider, Beijer, etc.).
- Experience with CAD.
- Experienced project management in the boiler/utilities industry.
