Overview
YMCA Allard Center is looking for Part-Time and Full-Time enthusiastic Teen Leaders for our Middle School after school program for the school year. We seek energetic and creative individuals to provide high quality care for middle school students in grades 5-8. You will facilitate activities, crafts, games, and challenges with the kids and model character traits.
Responsibilities- Facilitate small group activities for middle school students (grades 5–8).
- Model and reinforce character traits: responsibility, caring, honesty, and respect.
- Provide a safe, engaging environment and manage curriculum, activity calendars, and snack calendars.
- Collaborate with Day Camp & Teen Services Director to plan and implement activities.
- At least 2–5 years of experience working with youth and/or customer service is preferred.
- Credits in Education, Sports Management, or Hospitality are preferred, and/or college-level coursework in these majors is welcome.
- 2:30–6:00 pm or 3:00–6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
- Once a month Friday shifts will be 3:00–8:15 pm for a monthly Teen Night.
$12.00–$15.00/hr based on experience.
