Ski Operations Office Supervisor

Overview

The Ski Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and assisting with the day-to-day functioning of the ski operations office and providing an exceptional level of guest service.

• Supervise the day-to-day business of the Operations Office, including answering phones and responding to associate and guest inquiries.
• Supervise the Snow Reporter and complete the snow report as needed.
• Maintain office supply inventory and manage daily mailing needs.
• Provide support to other departments as required.
• Monitor and respond to radio calls from departments such as ski patrol and lift maintenance.
• Assist with administrative duties within the area.
• Act as the point person between departments and coordinate to address guest issues.
• Gather and respond to guest survey information, update email lists, and provide survey insights to managers.
• Monitor guest social media sites (Trip Advisor / Facebook) and Medallia, providing feedback to appropriate supervisors and managers.
• Instill a positive environment and strong work ethic.
• Assist guests in resolving queries regarding ski purchases, including tickets, passes, ski school, and rentals.

• Strong supervisory and managerial skills.
• Knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel; ability to learn new programs for scheduling and payroll.
• Strong communication skills presented with a positive and friendly manner.
• Ability to create a team environment and maintain positive attitudes.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Full‑time seasonal position.

• Interior of the base lodge, all areas.
• Exterior of the base lodge, exposed to weather conditions.
• Work in a crowded, fast‑paced environment with long periods of walking and standing; indoors and outdoors, with potential adverse weather.

• Winter schedule – average 5 days per week, 40 hours per week. Saturdays and some holidays required.
