Boise Cascade has an exciting opening for an Administrative Technician!
General ResponsibilitiesThe Administrative Team provides essential cross-departmental support for the location sales and operations teams.
In this role, you will serve as the supplier returns (SR) liaison for a key account, working directly with relevant stakeholders to support high-volume credit and return activities. This role will also be cross trained in daily invoicing & reporting, cash applications, freight payables and general administrative duties such as scanning, filing, and supporting various departments as needed to ensure smooth and efficient office operations.
AdminDuties
- Serve as the supplier returns (SR) liaison for a key account, ensuring timely, accurate communication and resolution of issues
- Review, research, and process credits & RMAs in accordance with company policies
- Perform daily pre-invoice reporting
- Assist with cash application processes
- Assist with scanning PODs, receiving credits, and supporting documentation
- Monitor returns to ensure timely follow-up and resolution
- Maintain a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail in all administrative and financial tasks
- Provide backup support to the admin team as needed during peak periods or absences
- Demonstrates effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Displays strong attention to detail and is highly organized
- Is flexible with daily tasks/assignments/projects as priorities change with the ability to multitask and prioritize accordingly
- Coachable with a strong willingness to learn about the building material distribution world
- Maintains a positive attitude and outlook
- Able to work in a team environment
Basic Qualifications:
HS Diploma, GED, or two (2) years equivalent work experience. Office environment with minimal physical exertion.
Preferred Qualifications:
Must possess effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. General office experience and basic operation of standard office equipment. Basic knowledge of PCs and software such as Windows, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint. Typically more than three (3) years experience in job related function. Role may require technical certifications or associate’s degree.
