Description We are looking for a skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team in Hooksett, New Hampshire. This is a Long-term Contract position ideal for someone with a strong background in financial operations and administrative support. The role involves managing key accounting functions and assisting with human resources tasks to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Handle billing operations, ensuring timely and precise invoicing.
- Perform account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Support general accounting tasks, including journal entries and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist with administrative duties related to human resources, such as maintaining employee records.
- Monitor financial data and prepare reports for management review.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting documentation.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and clients to address payment and billing concerns.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency within the accounting department. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Familiarity with billing functions and account reconciliation.
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and tools.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with human resources administration is a plus.
