Position Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned professional to take up the role of  Vice President / Assistant Vice President  for managing the operations of our  secured loan verticals , including  Business Loan, Loan Against Property and Affordable Housing . This is a  role  focused on  productivity, process excellence, risk management, and people leadership . The ideal candidate will be accountable for portfolio quality, team efficiency, and operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership & Capability Development
Lead cross-functional teams handling loan processing, credit, collections, and branch support.
Implement productivity tracking systems and ensure teams consistently meet operational KPIs.
Design and conduct training programs to upskill teams and improve field execution.
2. Portfolio Quality & Collections Oversight
Maintain  98%+ collection efficiency in 0-bucket  and control NPAs across secured portfolios.
Monitor delinquency trends and proactively coordinate with field/collections teams for timely recovery.
Establish and implement early warning mechanisms and escalation frameworks.
3. Process & Compliance Management
Enforce strict adherence to all internal processes, audit guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Ensure documentation, KYC, and underwriting standards are followed without deviation.
Conduct regular branch audits and process compliance checks.
4. Operational Efficiency
Streamline loan disbursement, credit assessment, and customer onboarding processes to reduce TAT.
Drive automation and tech adoption to increase productivity and reduce manual errors.
Identify bottlenecks and lead process reengineering efforts for continuous improvement.
5. Strategic and Financial Planning
Contribute to operational budgeting, cost control, and manpower planning.
Own the operational P&L and ensure profitability through better resource utilization.
Work with leadership on productivity-linked incentive structures and long-term execution plans.

Role Expectations:
Focus will be on  execution, portfolio health, compliance, efficiency, business development and strategic tie-up .

Required Qualifications:

Graduate/MBA Preferred
Minimum  10 years  of experience in  secured loan operations  (preferably in Banks/NBFCs).
Strong background in  collections, credit operations, risk control, and dealer and OEM relationship management .
Proven leadership in managing large operational teams across geographies.
Familiarity with RBI guidelines and NBFC/BFSI regulations.

Preferred

Skills:

Hands-on experience with core lending systems and operational dashboards.
Ability to drive structured SOPs, measurable KPIs, and long-term team productivity.
