Infusion RN; Rockland County, NY

Comfort Measures Home Care Agency specializing in IV infusion therapy is licensed in New York and New Jersey.

Per Diem position in the Rockland County area. Must be available for at least two cases per week.

Specialty infusion therapy in patient's home including: IVIG, TPN, antibiotics, chemotherapy, anti-infective therapy, enzyme replacement, inotropic therapy, hemophilia factor products.

Most patients are seen on a weekly or monthly basis depending on their needs.

• PICC Line and Central Line Care
• IV Insertion
• Central Line Dressing Changes and Lab Drawing (weekly)
• Port Maintenance
• Start IVs
• Accessing and De-accessing Ports
• Teach patients and caregivers to perform and monitor the administration of home infusion as prescribed.
• Document all patient-directed activities.

• Proficiency insertion of peripheral IVs.
• Current state licensure(s) as a Registered Nurse in good standing.
• A minimum of one year recent infusion experience.
• Must be available for at least two cases a week.
• Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• BLS certification is required
