Sunshine Homecare is seeking compassionate and skilled Pediatric RNs and LPNs to join our school-based nursing team. In this role, you will provide one-on-one nursing care to pediatric students within local school districts, ensuring their safety, comfort, and overall well-being throughout the school day. • Provide direct nursing care during school hours
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Monitor and document the student's health status throughout the day
• Respond promptly and appropriately to medical emergencies
• Assist with medical devices such as:
• Feeding tubes
• Catheters
• Glucose monitoring & insulin coverage
• Nebulizers
• Tracheostomies (if applicable)
• Follow care plans from the RN Case Manager and physician
• Collaborate professionally with school staff, families, and healthcare providers
• Maintain accurate and compliant daily documentation
• Uphold infection control and safety protocols

• G‑Tube feeding
• Glucose monitoring & insulin administration
• Catheterizations
• Nebulizer treatments
• Epi‑Pen administration
• Seizure precautions / epilepsy supervision

• Strong pediatric assessment and care skills
• Ability to remain calm and composed in emergencies
• Excellent communication with children, families, and school personnel
• Detail‑oriented with strong documentation habits
• Familiarity with infection control standards

• Graduate of an accredited RN or LPN program
• Active New York State RN or LPN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric experience preferred
• School nursing or community health experience a plus
• Current CPR certification required
