Summary Statement

The incumbent is responsible for the coordination of the codified Juvenile Civil Citation (JCC) diversion program. The oversight of staff, interns, and/or contractors paired with ongoing in‑person training of law enforcement and stakeholders ensures effective utilization and operation. The JCC Coordinator collects and analyses data used to track processes, drive enhancements, inform discussions, evaluate effectiveness, and identify areas for improvement. Management of this program prevents low‑risk youth from entering the juvenile justice system and instead provides the assessment of individualized needs and a swift response to include service referrals for low‑risk behaviors.
