BAS Project Engineering Intern

Responsible for assisting project engineers, project managers, technicians, with assigned tasks. This position is required to closely interact with Project Engineers, Project Managers, Salespeople, and assigned project staff to assist with the timely completion of each project.

• Responsible for creating submittal packages for new construction and retrofit building automation systems, which included: creating valve schedules, damper schedules, airflow diagrams, mechanical piping systems, floor plans, control wiring diagrams and bill of materials
• Developing graphics for building automation systems
• Interface with management, technicians & customers.
• Attends internal project team meetings to ensure accurate transfer of information.
• Communicate effectively with other team members concerning problems, obstacles, issues, and information needs.
• Attends and participates in appropriate department and team meetings
• Special projects as required / other duties as assigned.

A Junior or Senior college student currently working on a Bachelors or Associate’s Degree in Computer Aided Drafting, Engineering Technology, or Computer Aided Drafting. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, and AutoCAD (view only)

Compensation - $22.00 per hour

Work hours - 40 hours per week during the summer with the opportunity to work part time during the school year.
