THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Laurel School District is seeking a dynamic, student-centered educator to join our Middle School ELA department. We are looking for an instructional leader who is passionate about literacy, dedicated to fostering a "Spartan Strong" academic environment, and capable of driving measurable student growth.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
· Certification:
Must hold a valid Pennsylvania Professional Educator Certificate in English 7-12 or Grades 4-8 (ELA Concentration).
· Instructional Excellence:
Proven track record of achieving high student growth and proficiency levels (PSSA/PVAAS results preferred).
·
Skills:
Ability to differentiate instruction, integrate educational technology, and collaborate within a Professional Learning Community (PLC).
· Compliance:
Must possess current Act 34 (PA State Police), Act 151 (Child Abuse), and Act 114 (FBI Fingerprint) clearances.
COMPENSATION:
Salary and benefits are competitive and determined per the current Negotiated Agreement between the Laurel School District and the Laurel Education Association.
