2nd Shift Sanitation Specialist – Boar's Head Provisions Co., Inc.

Responsible for ensuring equipment and facility sanitary specifications are attained. Must regularly walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift or move up to 50 lbs. Frequently exposed to extreme cold, wet and humid conditions, and occasional mechanical parts and chemicals.

• Perform tasks assigned by Department Supervisor, including detailed cleaning of the facility, maintaining cleanliness of common areas, post‑op cleaning, and other duties.
• Ensure sanitary specifications of equipment and facility are obtained.
• Understand proper use of cleaning chemicals and procedures for efficient work.
• Work as a team player with other staff in Sanitation and Production departments.
• Use proper personal protective equipment.
• Be flexible with varying job assignments and working conditions.
• Follow plant rules and GMP’s and clean equipment criteria.

• No prior experience or training required.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed instructions.
• Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Add and subtract two‑digit numbers; multiply and divide with tens and hundreds.
• Perform these operations using units of American money, weight measurement, volume, and distance.
