Warehouse Worker

Position: Warehouse Worker 1
Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and materials management industry, is seeking a Warehouse Worker 1 to join their team. As a Warehouse Worker 1, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting material handling, inventory management, and shipping processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

** Pay Range:**  $18.50

** Shift:
** Monday - Friday, 7AM - 4PM

** What's the Job?*
* + Adhere to all safety and environmental requirements for storage and shipping of materials, including regulated Haz Mat.

+ Use computer applications and systems to maintain accurate material flow transactions.

+ Verify and maintain stock documents, perform cycle counts of all stockroom materials.

+ Unload, receive, verify, and count materials delivered to the warehouse.

+ Pack and ship materials back to vendors for repair or replacement, utilizing small hand tools and material handling equipment such as forklifts and hand jacks.

** What's Needed?*
* + High School Diploma or GED required.

+ Experience in the railway industry or a related field preferred.

+ Ability to conduct inventory checks and cycle counts.

+ Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in a similar role.

+ Previous forklift license, with certification provided upon onboarding.
