The New Castle, Delaware location is hiring one Assembly Technician to support the Customization department.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and review work order sheets, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of order specifications. Check products and components against the work order for accuracy.
- Follow the work orders, performing upgrades and replacements of computer components to enhance system performance or functionality. Tasks may include installing memory modules or storage drives.
- Follow the work orders, upgrading or installing computer systems according to specified requirements.
- Maintain a safe work environment by strictly adhering to safety protocols and guidelines, thereby minimizing risks associated with electronics assembly.
- Clean and securely pack completed machines in preparation for shipment.
- Flexibly take on any additional tasks or projects assigned by the supervisor while meeting measurable performance standards to contribute to overall department success.
- Previous warehouse, assembly, or production experience preferred
- Experience using hand tools or small power tools
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic math skills (measuring, counting, reading specs)
- Attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 30–50 lbs (adjust to your needs)
