Overview

Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Fully Onsite in New Castle, Delaware

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Pay: $70-,000 - $80,000 annually

Addison Group is partnering with our client, a growing organization in the environmental and services industry, to hire a Senior Accountant
. This role offers strong exposure to operational finance and a clear path for advancement through internal promotion and relocation opportunities.

• Support the monthly close process and prepare financial statements for assigned locations
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Analyze monthly financial results and explain variances to budget and forecast
• Prepare rolling short-term forecasts
• Review pricing and rate structures
• Partner with operational leaders to communicate financial insights
• Coordinate accounting data between local and remote teams
• Assist with internal controls and SOX-related compliance
• Participate in the annual budgeting and planning cycle
• Train non-financial leaders on accounting processes and financial statement review

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Hands-on experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Microsoft Excel
• Willingness to relocate for career advancement
